Orbital Taurus Model 2110
This is Orbital Science's Taurus Model 2110 Launch Vehicle in the ACRIMSAT and KOMPSAT mission markings. There is lots of information about the rocket itself on Orbital's website if you want to check that out. I wanted to make this model for a while, but getting a picture of the rocket that shows all the logos was difficult. Eventually I was able to contact someone at Orbital that was able to give me a couple more pictures. Once I had those, I was able to track down what was missing and finish off the model.
The Taurus 2110 on the launch stand
There aren't many differences between this model and the 3110 that I made earlier, but the middle stages are a little smaller. Other than that, the hard part was making the mission logos. There aren't any online, and all I could find were badges like this one.
This mission was launched way back in December 1999, so there wasn't as any real online 'presence' or many digital cameras back then. That made getting pictures tough. Fortunately, there are a few floating around that Orbital had.
Pictures and Download
So, here is the latest model for download, and the last of my Taurus line. With this model, you can make one of all the commercial Taurus models. The Air Force had a configuration that used an old Peacekeeper booster in place of the Castor-120 stage 0. But they look almost identical to the commercial versions, so I doubt I'll make one of those.
So go ahead and add this to your 1/96 scale rocket collection. The different logos will make it one more that stands out from the bunch.

Instructions and building notes are included with the model. I recommend that you print this on regular white paper, around 24 lb. Also...
