Paper Models

This is my paper models center. I don't know if you've seen any paper models around the net but they are growing in popularity. Some of them are very detailed, and you would be surprised to learn that they were made from paper. I learned about them a few years ago and got very interested. I built several models, but all of the early models are now gone. They weren't great builds, and I didn't really have that great of an attachment to them. My later ones have survived though, and you can find them in my gallery.

After I had built some, I wanted to make some of my own, so I taught myself how to design them. Once I made a bunch of models I figured why not give them to anyone who wanted them? Also, I'm more than happy to accept a model you designed but don't have a place to host it. I would just like them in an easy to view format, and be fairly well designed. If you have one that you would like me to host, just send me an and I'll be more than happy to hook you up.

I've designed several paper models from the games Homeworld, Homeworld: Cataclysm, and Homewrold 2. They are they easiest I've found (of the games that I have) and I like the look and feel of the ships. I've also got a few models from other contributors, as well as some assembly instructions for the more difficult models. I've also got my own creations here for you to download. Check back from time to time and see what's brewing on the paper model scene.

Tutorials

As I mentioned, I taught myself how to make these models by myself. All I had to start with were a few simple tutorials and tiral and error. I felt that I should expand on the simple tutorials and provide a step by step process to make it easier for someone to learn. This process is based on the Homeworld series games, but if you have a model from another game the same basic process can be used there as well.
